Until 2016, Microsoft acquire LinkedIn for $196 a share with investment value of $26.2 billion. It has become one of the biggest acquisitions from Microsoft. Since its acquisition, LinkedIn has contributed financially to the Microsoft.

Although the minor contribution, in the future, it can be bigger and bigger in financial contribution with the increasing popularity and usefulness of LinkedIn as Social Media Platform.
