Financially, iPhone still become the financial contributor in boosting Apple Inc revenue. In the year of 2022, Apple still become one of the biggest company in the World with total assets around 352 billion US Dollars and gained the revenue around 394 billion US Dollar and net income in 2022 around 99 billion US Dollars.
Based on the Financial contribution of each product, iPhone still become the major contributor of Apple Inc. iPhone can contribute around 50%-52% of Apple’s revenue/net sales in 2022, 2021, and 2020. Apple service is in the next position with contribution around 20% to Apple’s revenue. Mac and iPad is in the next position with contribution around 10% and 7% to Apple’s revenue, respectively. The sales of iPhone in 2020 is about $ 137 billion and it always increased into $ 191 billion in 2020, $ 205 billion in 2021. All of the data was obtained from Annual Report of the company in 2022.
Based on the geographical regions, iPhone and other product and services have the biggest market shares in America region. The sales of iPhone and other apple products and service around 124 billion in 2020, 153 billion in 2021, and 169 billion in 2022. Europe region in the second place as a contributor of Apple revenue with the sales around $ 68 billion in 2020, $ 89 billion in 2021, $ 95 billion in 2022. China is the next contributor with sales around $ 40 billion in 2020, $ 68 billion in 2021, and $ 74 billion in 2022. Meanwhile, Japan contributed $ 21 billion in 2020, $ 28 billion in 2021, and $ 29 billion in 2022.
