1. China, mainland
China is the biggest of all countries with the production of ninety-one million tons in 2019. In 2006, the planted area of potatoes in China was around 5.34 million hectares. Genetically, these are some varieties of potatoes that are usually planted in the USA. these varieties are Russet Burbank, Russet Norkotah, Ranger Russet, Umatilla Russet, Frito-Lay varieties, and Norland.
