His career started in Vigor Lamezia (1986-1987), followed in Puteolana (1987-1988), Cagliari (1988-1991), Napoli (1991–1992), Fiorentina (1993–1997), Valencia (1997–1999), Atlético Madrid (1999–2000), Chelsea (2000–2004), Valencia (2004–2005), Parma (2007), Juventus (2007–2009), Roma (2009–2011), Inter Milan (2011–2012), Monaco (2012–2014), Greece (2014), Leicester City (2015–2017), Nantes (2017–2018), Fulham (2018–2019), Sampdoria (2019–2021), and Watford (2021-2022).

His starting eleven of championship Leicester in 2015-2016 was Kasper Schmeichel, Wes Morgan, Robeth Huth, Christian Fuchs, Dany Drinkwater, N’golo Kante, Ryad Mahrez, Marc Albrighton, Shinji Okazaki, and Jamie Vardy. Some of them are not glamorous players. With a modest squad, Leicester can become the championship beating billionaire clubs, namely Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
In Leicester, Ranieri played a flat 4-4-2 formation. Okazaki partnered with James Vardy upfront, while Leonardo Ulloa, was placed on the bench. N’golo Kante is bought by Chelsea at a cost of 32 million pounds sterling, and Ryad Mahrez went to Manchester City with the transfer of 60 million Pound sterling, Dany Drinkwater follow N’glo Kante to Chelsea with cost 36 million Pound sterling. They reap a lot of money from player transfer after the English champion.
After bringing Leicester to become the Champions of Premier League, Ranieri was awarded some prestigious individual manager award. He wins the Premier League Manager of the Season: 2015–16, LMA Manager of the Year: 2016, The Best FIFA Men’s Coach: 2016, and World Soccer Magazine World Manager of the Year: 2016. He can bring the Leicester to Champions like David Versus Goliath Story.
