15 World’s Biggest Gold Producers- According to World Mining Database Report in 2021, there are fifteen world’s biggest gold producers in 2019. These countries have a huge amount of gold productions. With these conditions, some of the countries can use gold to fulfill domestic consumption and some of them can trade or sell it to other countries so it can add their revenues.

Statistically, gold is one of the precious metals that has a unique view for humans. It has luxurious perceptions, and most people look at gold as an expensive source. Some goods that are made from gold has an expensive price than ordinary good (good without gold mixture). Based on the statistical database from 2015-2019 of World Mining Data in 2021, the production of gold in stable conditions. The production of 2015 reach 3.1 million kilograms and becomes 3.2 million kilograms in 2019.

Gold can be used for miscellaneous products. Many people still used gold as an investment product. It can protect the values from inflations. Commonly, the Jewellery industry still uses gold materials to make the products of jewelry, namely necklaces, rings, and bracelets. In other industries, gold still has important materials. Dentistry, medical industries, cosmetics, electronics are some of the industries that still used gold in making the products.

China becomes the biggest producer of gold in 2019. Based on the World Mining Database in 2021, the production of China’s gold reach 380,230 kilograms (kg). Based on the gold area production, the mining activity has been concentrated in the eastern provinces of Shandong, Henan, Fujian, Liaoning, Guizhou, and Yunnan. In this country, there are some gold mining areas, namely Shaxi Copper Mine, Jiaojia Gold Mine, Dayingezhuang Gold Mine, Sanshandao Gold Mine, and Zaozigou Gold Mine.


2.Australia        

Australia is the second biggest producer of gold in 2019. Based on the World Mining Database in 2021, the production of China’s gold reach325,711 kilograms (kg). Geographically, in Australia, gold mining is concentrated in Western Australia. Some of the gold mining areas in Australia are Cadia Valley or Cadia-Ridgeway Mine, Boddington Gold Mine, Fosterville Gold Mine, Tropicana Gold Mine, and Kalgoorlie Super Pit.


3.Russia             

Russia is the third-biggest producer of gold in 2019. Based on the World Mining Database in 2021, the production of Russia’s gold reach 305,050 kilograms (kg). Geographically, most of Russia’s gold production comes from eastern regions, namely Amur, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Magadan, and Sakha-Yakutia. Based on the gold mining sites, there are some largest gold mining sites in Russia These are Olimpiada Mine, Kupol and Dvoinoye Mine, Natalka Mine, Blagodatnoye Mine, and Gross Project.

The United States of America become the fourth biggest producer of gold in 2019. In this country, the states of Nevada, Alaska, Colorado, California, and Arizona become the biggest contributor to gold production in the United States of America.


5.Canada           

Canada is the fifth-biggest producer of gold in 2019. In that year, the production of gold from this country reached182,783 kilograms (kg). In this country, Ontario and Quebec become the biggest contributor of gold from Canada. Some of the Canadian gold mining sites are Canadian Malartic Mine, Detour Lake Project, Bruce jack Project, Porcupine Mine, and Meliadine Project.

Ghana is the sixth biggest producer of gold in 2019. Some of them are AngloGold Ashanti, Gold Fields Ghana Ltd, Abosso Goldfields Limited, Golden Star Ltd, Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd, Chirano Gold Mines Ltd, Adamus Resources Limited, Perseus Mining (Ghana) Ltd, Asanko Gold Mine, Xtra Gold, and Kibi Goldfields. Geographically, some the regions where gold can be explored in Tarkwa, Obuasi, Dunkwa, Prestea, and Dumas.

Based on Province, there are several regions that have the biggest production of gold. These provinces are Akmola, East Kazakhstan, and Karagandy. Brazil becomes the 13th biggest producer of gold in 2019. Based on the World Mining Data in 2021, the production of Gold from Brazil reached89,988 kilograms (kg). Some of the gold mining sites in Brazil are Paracatu Mine, Salobo Mine, Cuiaba Mine, Jacobina Mine, and Aurizona Mine.


14.Papua New Guinea
