10 World’s Biggest Wine Producers-According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), there are 10 World’s Biggest Wine Producers. As commonly we has known, wine is a famous product of Grape Fermented. Some countries are favored with this beverage. Wine is an alcoholic beverage that is made from fermented grapes. Chemically, because of the natural chemical balance on the molecules of grapes, the fermentation process of grape can do nothing with the addition of sugar, acids, enzymes, water, or other nutrients.

In the fermentation process, the yeast, commonly used Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Kloeckera (Teleomorph Hanseniaspora), Candida, Brettanomyces (Teleomorph Dekkera), will consume the sugar content of the wine and convert it into ethanol and carbon dioxide. Of course, different variations of the type of grapes and yeast will produce diverse types of wine.

Commonly, there are several types of wine, namely, Red Wine, White Wine, Rose Wine, Sparkling Wine, Sweet Wine, and Fortified Wine. There are more of them because of technologies and new breakthroughs of the processing systems.
