1. United States of America       

United States of America (USA) Still becomes the biggest producers of beef in 2021. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of beef from United States of America reached 12,733,643 tonnes.  Geographically, there are some states in United States of America that has huge production of beef. Some of them are Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and Montana. Genetically, based on the species, the source of Beef in USA come from Angus, Hereford, Simmental, Red Angus, Charolais, Gelbvieh, Brangus, Limousin, Beefmaster, Shorthorn, and Brahman.

2. Brazil              

Brazil is the 2nd World’s biggest producer of Beef in 2021. According to FAO Statistics (FAOSTAT), the production of Beef from Brazil achieved 9,750,000 tonnes. Economically, in Beef economic global trading, Brazil is one of the world’s largest exporters of beef (23% of global exports). China as another country that has huge production of beef in 2021. According to FAO Statistics (FAOSTAT), the production of beef from China reached 6,975,100 tonnes. In China, Feed infustries can be divided into some regions within 17 provinces into five zones including Central Plains (Shandong, Henan, Hebei, and Anhui), the Northeast (Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Inner-Mongolia, and North of Hebei), the West (Gansu, Shanxi, Niangxia, and Jinjiang), the Southwest (Sicuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guozhou, and Guangxi) and others.

India is the 4th biggest producer of Beef in 2021. According to FAO Statistics (FAOSTAT), the production of beef from India reached 4,195,000 tonnes. In this country, some of beef can be found in Kerala, West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim and Lakshadweep.

5. Argentina     

Argentina is next biggest country of beef production in 2021. According to FAOSTAT, the production of beef from Argentina reached 2,981,690 tonnes. Geograhically, the distribution of cattle population can be divided into 2 zones. The Central-Eastern (CE) zone comprises the provinces historically producing beef cattle (Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba, La Pampa and Entre Ríos). Furthermore, the other area, which was called Northeastern (NE) – North Western (NW) zone that consist of Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa, Santiago del Estero, Salta, Misiones, La Rioja, Catamarca, Tucuman, Jujuy)

Mexico is the next country of beef production in 2021. According to FAOSTAT, the production of beef from Mexico reached 2,130,592 tonnes. In Mexico, the cattle population of cattle are located in some states. Some of the state that huge population of cattle are Cihuahua, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Veracruz, Durango, Tabaesco, Sinaloa.

7. Australia       

Australia is the 7th World’s biggest country as beef producer in 2021. According to FAOSTAT, the production of Beef from Australia reached 1,932,598 tonnes. Geograhically, on 2019, the major population of cattle can be found in Queensland 11 million head), New South Wales (4 million head), Victoria (3.6 million head), Northen Australia (2 million head), and Western Australia (2 million head).

8. Russian Federation   

Russian Federation is the 8th World’s biggest producer of Beef in 2021. According to FAOSTAT, the production of beef from Russia reached 1,673,546 tonnes. Geographically, in Russia, some of cattle slaughtered can be found in Bryansk, Orlov Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, and the Republic of Altai.

9. Türkiye          

Türkiye is the 9th World’s biggest producer of Beef in 2021. According to FAOSTAT, the production beef from Türkiye reached 1,460,719 tonnes. In this country, there are some species of cattle to beef productions. Some of them are Anatolian Black (Yerli Kara), Eastern Anatolian Red (Doğu Anadolu Kırmızısı),  Anatolian Gray (Boz Irk), and  South Anatolian Red (Güney Anadolu Kırmızısı).

10. France         

France is the 10th World’s biggest producer of Beef in 2021. According to FAOSTAT, the production of beef from France reached 1,424,320 tonnes.
