From all produced meat, Pork, Beef, and Chicken meat still became the major meat to be consumed by people all over the world. In the year of 1970, the world’s production is just 35 million tons. Furthermore, in 2021, the world’s production of meat has reached 120 million tons. Overall, in the last 50 years, the world’s production of pig meat has increased around 90 million tons.

Pork is basically obtained from domesticated pigs (Sus scrofa domesticus). Historically, the animal husbandry of pig started in 5000 BC. Nowadays, Pork is eaten both freshly cooked and could be preserved. Ham, bacon, gammon, bacon, and sausage are examples of cured/canned pork.

1.China

China will still become the World’s Biggest Pork-Producing Country in 2021. Statistically, the production of China’s pig meat is around 52,959,300 tonnes. Geographically, China’s pig main production area can be divided into six major districts. Firstly, the middle and lower parts of the Yangtze River is in around some province i.e. Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan, Jianxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. Secondly, North China can be included in Shanxi, Shandong and Henan provinces). Thirdly, Northeast China consists of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. Fourthly, Southeast China consists of Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Hainan provinces. Fifty, the municipality area consists of Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai provinces. Lastly, the other area in 10 provinces in China.

2.United States of America

The United States of America (USA) was the second World’s Biggest Pork-Producing Country in 2021. Statistically, the production of Pig meat from Stars and Stripes country reached 12,559,966 tonnes. Geographically, there are 10 biggest states that have huge production of Pig Meat. These states are Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.

3. Spain

Spain will be the Third World’s Biggest Pork-Producing country in 2021. Statistically, the production of Spain’s pig meat in 2021 reached 5,180,060 tonnes. Geographically, there is a main area/province that has a huge population of pigs. Spain’s provinces are Mérida, Hues ca, Zaragoza, Murcia, Barcelona, and Segovia. Statistically, Pig industries is the main contributor of livestock in Spain that contributes 37 percent of all national livestock industry. Furthermore, Spain became one of the biggest exporters of Pig meat in the world besides the USA and China.

4. Germany

Germany is the Fourth World’s Biggest Pork-Producing country in 2021. Statistically, the production of Pig meat from Germany reached 4,971,150 tonnes in 2021. Geographically, there are some areas of pig production. The main areas of pig production are concentrated in the north-west, especially in the states of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.

5.Brazil

Brazil will be the fifth World’s Biggest Pork-Producing country in 2021. Statistically, the production of Brazil’s Pig Meat in 2021 reached 4,365,000 tonnes. Geographically, there are some provinces in Brazil that have huge production of Slaughtered Pigs annually. These main areas in Brazil are Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Goiás, e Mato Grosso do Sul.

6.Russian Federation   

Russia will still become the sixth-biggest pork producer in 2021. Statistically, the production of pork/ pig meat from Russia reached 4,304,053 tonnes in 2021. Geographically, there are some regions of pig production in Russia. These areas are Tver, Pskov, Tambov, Pskov and Voronezh.

7.Viet Nam      

Vietnam is the next biggest country of Pig Meat in 2021. According to the FAO Statistical Corporate Database in 2021, the production of Pig Meat in Vietnam reached 2,590,000 tonnes. In This country, there are some regions of Pig production area. These are Ho Chi Minh City, Central Vietnam, Northwest, and Northwest. Genetically, there are some well-known local genetic of Pig. These local pigs are the Lang Hong, Mong Cai and I.

8. Canada          

Canada is the next biggest country from the American region that has huge production of pig meat in 2021. Statistically, the production of Pig Meat in Canada reached 2,404,594 tonnes. Geographically, there are some main regions in Canada that contribute to the production of national pig meat. These regions are Mani hot, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario.

9. France           

France is the 9th world’s biggest country of pig meat producers in 2021. Statistically, the production of pig meat from France reached 2,203,830 tonnes. Geographically, the main area of pig farming in France is located in the French Great West, specifically in the regions of Brittany and Pays de la Loire.

10. Poland        

Poland is the 10th world’s biggest producer of pig meat in 2021. Statistically, the production of pig meat in Poland was 1,985,810 tonnes. Geographically, there are main regions in Poland that have the highest contributor than other areas. These provinces are The Greater Poland province, Kujawy-Pomerania, Masovia, Pomerania, and Łódz.
