Pork/pig’s meat basically become one of the most popular meats in the world.  This meat is one of the most consumed meats in the world.  Statistically, according to the FAO Statistical Database in 2020, the production of pig’s meat all over the world around 109 million tonnes. 1.China

China still becomes the World’s Biggest Pork-Producing Country in 2020. Statistically, the production of China’s pig meat around 41,133,300 tonnes. Geographically, China’s pig main production area can be divided into six major districts. Firstly, the middle and lower parts of the Yangtze River is in around some province i.e. Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan, Jianxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. Secondly, North China can be included in Shanxi, Shandong and Henan provinces). Thirdly, Northeast China consist of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. Fourthly, Southeast China consist of Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Hainan provinces. Fifthly, the municipality area consists of Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai provinces. The United States of America (USA) was the second World’s Biggest Pork-Producing Country in 2020. Statistically, the production of Pig meat from stars and strips country reached 12,845,097 tonnes. Geographically, there are 10 biggest states that has huge production of Pig Meat. These states are Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.

3.Germany

Germany is the third World’s Biggest Pork-Producing country in 2020. Statistically, the production of Pig meat from Germany reached 5,118,000 tonnes in 2020. Geographically, there are some area of pig production. The main areas of pig production are concentrated in the north-west, especially in the states of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.

4.Spain

Spain is the fourth World’s Biggest Pork-Producing country in 2020. Statistically, the production of Spain’s pig meat in 2020 reached 5,003,430 tonnes. 5.Brazil

Brazil is the fifth World’s Biggest Pork-Producing country in 2020. Statistically, the production of Brazil’s Pig Meat in 2020 reached 4,482,048 tonnes. Geographically, there are some provinces in Brazil that has huge production of Slaughtered Pigs annually. These main area in Brazil are Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Goiás, and Mato Grosso do Sul.

6.Russian Federation    

Russia still becomes the sixth biggest pork country producer in 2020. Statistically, the production of pork/ pig meat from Russia reached 4,281,613 tonnes in 2020. Geographically, there are some regions of pig production area in Russia. These areas are Tver, Pskov, Tambov, Pskov and Voronezh.

7.Viet Nam       

Vietnam is the next biggest country of Pig Meat in 2020. According to the FAO Statistical Corporate Database in 2022, the production of Pig Meat in Viet Nam reached3,550,105 tonnes. In This country, there are some regions of Pig production area. These are Ho Chi Minh City, Central Vietnam, Northwest, and Northwest. Genetically, there are some well-known local genetic of Pig. These local pigs are the Lang Hong, Mong Cai and I.

8.Canada           

Canada is the next biggest country from America region that has huge production of pig meat in 2020. Statistically, the production of Pig Meat in Canada reached 2,299,446 tonnes. Geograhically, there are some main regions in Canada that contributes production of national pig meat. These regions are Manihota, Sakatchewan, Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario.

9.France            

France is the 9th world’s biggest country of pig meat producer in 2020. Statistically, the production of pig meat from France reached 2,201,110 tonnes. Geographically, the main area of pig farming in France is located in French Great West, specifically in the regions of Brittany and Pays de la Loire.

10.Poland         

Poland is the 10th world’s biggest producer of pig meat in 2020. Statistically, the production of pig meat in Poland into 1,985,120 tonnes. Geographically, there are main regions in Poland that have the highest contributor than other areas. These provinces are The Greater Poland province, Kuyawy-Pomerania, Masovia, Pomerania, and Łódz.
