India was the World’s Biggest Goat Milk Producing country in 2021. Based on data from FAO, the production of goat milk from Mahatma Gandhi reached 6 million tons. In India alone, there are 5 largest states of goat milk. The states include Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. In more detail, Rajasthan produces goat milk reaching 1.8 million tons, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 1.2 million tons, Madhya Pradesh with 556 thousand tons, Gujarat with 267 thousand tons. and Maharashtra with 247 thousand tons. In India, the types of goats used for milk production are Jamunapari, Beetal, Jakhrana, and Surti goats.


2. Bangladesh
