Geographically, in Indonesia, some of the furniture industries can be found in Cirebon, Bali, Jepara and Semarang. Based on the data of Ministry of Trade of The Republic of Indonesia in 20214, some destination market of Indonesia’s furniture includes the United Kingdom with US$32.28 million (8.79%), Germany with US$26.03 million (7.09%), Japan with US$22.54 million (6.14%) and France with US$19.44 million (5.30%).

Germany also became one of the biggest exporters of rattan furniture in 2021. Statistically, the export value of rattan from Germany reached $ 1,029,595.
