Geographically, according to Statistics New Zealand (Stats NZ) in 2019, the main dairy cattle areas for milk production in New Zealand located in some regions. Specifically, the regions include Waikato (628,420 ha), Canterbury (326,153 ha), Southland (239,447 ha), Taranaki (207,086 ha), Manawatu Whanganui (178,833 ha), and Northland (166,101 ha). Furthermore, in this country, there is one of the most popular milk cooperatives, namely Fonterra. Commonly, Fonterra has abundant production of milk products and has exported the products to other countries.

2. Meat of cattle with the bone, fresh or chilled

It is in Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Auckland, and Northland with total areas of apples reaching Hawke’s Bay (6,190 hectares (ha)), Tasman (2,200 hectares (ha)), and Otago (540 hectares (ha)).      

5. Potatoes

7. Wheat

Geographically, according to Stats NZ of 2020, there are main cultivation areas of wheat in New Zealand. It is in Canterbury (36,800 ha), Southland (4,500 ha), and Otago (2,800 ha).

10. Onions and shallots, green
